Projects Grants

Before filling a Grant Application form, please read the information below.

Guidelines for grants applicants

Grants are usually not exceeding 500Euros and are made to registered charities, churches and individuals in Romania and Moldova.

Example of charitable causes supported include: Homelessness, children’s homes, young people and adults at risk, summer camps for disadvantaged people and prevention or relief of poverty.

Priority given to projects is decided by available funds and circumstances at the time. Therefore, it should not be assumed that an application, even though it may generally qualify, will be successful.

To your completed Grant Application form, it will be helpful to attach the following:

a) most recent annual report and accounts

b) significant accomplishments and/or difficulties of the project

c) details of other funders/donors approached in the last twelve months

d) information about how the grant will be used and how the project is managed.

Please send your completed Grant Application to the Projects Manager via romanianresource@gmail.com.

Application Process

Given the number of applications received, we will not acknowledge the receipt of applications. If your application is successful, usually we will contact you within 14 weeks of receiving all the information we require. Once you agree to the offer of the grant, we can generally pay the grant into your bank account within 14 days.

But if we do not hear from you within a month, we will cancel our offer.

After the grant is given, you will need to send us records of the progress of the project. We will also ask for stories, photos or other evidence to describe the difference your project has made. We may visit your project to learn more. You need to monitor your activity and spending relating to our grant. We take this into account when we look at future applications from you, and when we recommend organisations to our donors.
