ROMANIAN RESOURCE NETWORK (RRN) Privacy Policy

Romanian Resource Network (RRN) will only obtain and store personal data according to the Data Protection Act 2018.

​

Under the Data Protection Act, data must be:

  • Collected, stored and processed fairly and accurately,

  • Held and used for specified and lawful purposes,

  • Kept for no longer than necessary,

  • Adequately protected against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction or accidental loss.

This policy is effective from 1 November 2023. This policy may be changed from time to time by updating this page.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service by matching your application to the right charity project which will benefit from your skills and your involvement.

Every year we erase all information gathered about people who approached us.  If you would like us to contact you, about other volunteering projects in the future please inform us so we can save your contact details.

​

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.  If we are required by law to release your personal data, we will ask for your permission first.

​

If you believe that any information, we are holding about you is incorrect, incomplete or not up to date, please contact us as soon as possible.  We will promptly update your personal details. 

 

You may contact us to request details of personal information which we hold about you or ask for erasing the information held on you, even before it is deleted as a matter of routine at our year end.
